Students receive an official Komyo ReikiDo manual.

It is suggested that you allow at least a 1 year gap between Okuden and Shinpiden. This enables you to consolidate your Reiki skills, in readiness for becoming a Shihan. At this higher level, your Reiki training becomes more of an apprenticeship than a course, with your teacher adopting the role of mentor.
Please note: We welcome students who have attained Reiki Master Teacher level with other schools of Reiki. We offer them the opportunity to convert to Komyo ReikiDo, an intensive conversion to Komyo ReikiDo covering 3 days and inclusive of all levels of Reiki. Requirements for upskilling include 1 year's experience at Master Teacher level and be able to show certification. On completion, you will become eligible to join the Komyo ReikiDo Association, as a 'Certified Shihan Member'.
Continue to practise daily Reiki energy exercises and mindfulness meditations.
Practise using all four Reiki shirushi, on yourself and others.
Practise giving Reiju.
Mentoring includes an invitation to lead courses and a Share group.
Free course revisits (subject to availability).
We recommend students keep a journal of ther progress.
Teaching material provided for all levels.
An understanding that Komyo ReikiDo teachings are not to be amalgamated into any other form of Reiki.
Komyo ReikiDo Shihans are free to charge whatever fees they feel comfortable with, which reflects the value and worth of the training provided.
